Summary: Students will learn about how models are used in science by constructing one of our solar system made of candy!

Students will discuss facts about each planet as they represent them in a model made out of candy. Once their model is complete, they will be able to use it to answer questions about the solar system and learn about how models are used in science and engineering. In the end they may eat their model if instructor allows.
