Summary: Compete to create the most earthquake stable city by experimenting with a variety of building materials!

After learning about how earthquakes move, students will be given time to experiment with various materials (sugar cubes, Jell-O, etc...) to design buildings that will remain intact under earthquake conditions. Then, they will be challenged to design a city that can survive an earthquake-the team with the longest-standing city will win!
